Sant Pol de Mar

It really is a little trip with the train to Sant Pol de Mar. But the 50km journey along the Costa del Maresme leads you passing by many beautiful beaches (like Ocata) and small towns. One like them is Sant Pol de Mar. Here it is relaxed and quiet – there are just a few tourists. The beach is perfect for a chill-out and the sea is clean.

Omnipresent is the train, which cuts the town just at the promande to the beach. Once in a while a commuter train is passing by which is hardly hearable. Also here you can see a small church sitting on top of a small mountain inside the town: the gotic church of Sant Jaume.

Who likes to be apart of the mass tourism beaches and is able to accept almost of an hour traveling time is well adviced visiting Sant Pol.
