The town of El Masnou is located North of Barcelona at the Costa del Maresme and features 2 popular beaches. A few steps South from the train station ‘El Masnou’ you will find the smaller Platja del Masnou. The bigger and longer Ocata beach is situated one train stop further North.

Between the two beaches resides a large marina with many (expensive) restaurants and everything a captain needs. When you step onto Platja del Masnou you will be able to find a nice little snack at the very first beach bar (Chiringuito Rotonda) while listening to chilled music.

Looking South you get a good view of Barcelona with its industrial areas at Port Fórum all the way out until Montjuic. The trip by train only takes 30 minutes.
