Locomia in Concert
Since 2008 the ‘Gay Pride’ is celebrated also in Barcelona. An event, that is thematically and chronologically oriented towards the well-known Christoper Street Day. On this day the equality of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders (LGBT) is remembered.
Any way Barcelona already is very gay-friendly. During the Gay Pride many events, forums, the Gay Parade and many parties are organized. The biggest parties with concerts, a drag queen contest and the popular foam party are held at Placa Espanya in the wide Avinguda Reina Maria Cristina. As well as a heterosexual being you should check out these big parties – they are lots of fun and a sign for openness in our society!
