The small and contemplative little city of Sitges is located at the Costa del Garraf, just a few Kilometers south of Barcelona. Life is bubbling here during the summer months since tourists and locals enjoy the stroll through the small shopping streets and are relaxing at the clean beaches. On top of a small hill between the city main beaches you will find the decorative church Església Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla.

The water is clean at all beaches and obviously protected well from the trash of big Barcelona. At the beach promenade many restaurants of different price classes are lined up. Although Sitges is not cheap you can always afford a coffee.
